How about an individual whose name will go unmentioned who decided to show inappropriate cel phone photos to a young lady WHILE working on the job. Needless to say it was reported and he was sent home.Way to represent the local....Definitely a low point.
CNN is reporting that Barack Obama wins the Iowa Caucuses with Hillary Clinton and John Edwards coming in second Mike Huckabee wins the Iowa caucuses for the republicans I say NO to inappropriate cell phone photos on the job....poor young lady!

CNN is now saying that Edwards is in second place and Clinton is in third OK, Sleeping Beauty is now going to sleep.....see Ya'all!
Can anyone tell me how is it possible that a person can have his card pulled and number taken still come back to work on the permant work roster in the same placement as when he left? It is happing now on the Island.
being a flyman for spamalot! the show was great and the people were easy to work with. plus, i got a chance to do something besides mix sound - for once. (not that i don't like mixing. it's just refreshing to do something different for a change. after all, we are supposed to know everything about stagecraft, right?) on a side note, a personal shout out to their flyman nate, who will never read this, he showed me how to work the ropes and made my job a breeze! the supposed "controversy" of a soundman on the rail didn't phase him. wish i could say the same for some of our own members.
FYI...... Local 51 is saddened by the loss of Brother Jim Creasy, who passed away on December 29, 2007. Visitiation will be for 6pm-8pm on Friday, January 4th at the George H Lewis Funeral Home, 1010 Bering Drive.
Memorial Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, Jan 5, 2008 Bethany Christian Church 3223 Westehemimer (across from Lamar High School) Reception in the Church Parlor, immediately following the service
A private burial (family members only) will be at Forest Park Lawndale.
Yes, I hear you on that one. I watched the movie Ocean's 13 that was a good one. What about bike riding? I just biked 20 miles it is less pounding on the legs.
