Our Holiday wishes go out to exiting Vice President and incoming President Barry Thomas. With him goes a lot of expectation that the next three years will bring a more open administration, staffed with members that want to serve the Local and improve our training, communication and employment situations. With his drive and demeanor, we hope he becomes an example to other E Board members to be active, not passive, in improving our image and presence in the Entertainment community.

Yes, President Barry is a breath of fresh air for everyone! Hopefully we can work towards getting the Local 51 Website up and running for real and get some training classes established so that our members can be the most qualified in the business especially for the apprentices.
Barry is the man for the job. He is a true professional and I am convinced He will be one of the best Presidents thus far. Oh yeah did I mention he is a triple digit? Rock On Mr.President!

Ok, THANK YOU...I thought it meant a triple threat like being a rigger, electrician and department head at the ballet......
Hopefully, with our new President we will have more folks at the union meeting...maybe a turnout of 100.
Also our new President sure is good looking and very nice! No one mentioned that.
