The Local 51 website is down. The only reason we can tell is there is less information that usual, if that is possible... Next week, rumor has it, the Loc 5 website will be ready...

Hey! Local 796 website is up and running and even has member user ID's and Passcodes. ALSO, they are having their next Union Meeting in Local 51's Union Hall which is correctly noted on their working website....maybe we should all join!!!!! Monthly Meeting Information Next Meeting is Nov 8th, 7pm
Maybe the Local 51 Website is temporary out of order due to the fact that it is being re-arranged to put back the ability to even have a member user id and passcode section which was completely taken off the website about 2 months ago!
my hosting gives me something called cpanel. which allows you to control everything about your own server. including sub-domains, multiple email accounts, lots of security, and monitoring of bandwidth. but, the really cool thing is all these autoinstall options for auto website builders where multiple people can control the content. all kind of cool things.

Good thing Local One's Website is working since the strike is on and the members need to access their Members only section with their individual user id and passcodes to get strike information! Per their website........ LOCAL ONE ON STRIKE - See Members Only Section for Details Now if that was us we would definetely be in BIG TROUBLE! We would have to access this Blog for our strike information. I say that this blog should become the offical Local 51 website until the Local 51 website ever truly gets up and running for real.
i gotta remind people that its really alot of time to keep a website updated. even on the basic text level. its an effort. should be paid at least $30 an hour. and thats cheap.
and you want security? and membership? and rss? and porn links?! WHAT?! make that $75 a day. everday. with a 6 month contract. paid in advance. with bene's.
i know how to do it, but, no way am i gonna volunteer my time to hear people complain about: content, grammer, facts, fictions, artwork, color, itchy butt, etc....
actually, the complaining is easy and sometimes entertaining. its the 'time out of my day' that would be the biggest problem. especially, the 'no compensation' part.
so, let us all, please, work on hilarious criticisms. or at least some good 'yer momma' comments.
